Cgiware Clean and Swap (cwclean.pl & cwswap.pl):

These are free handy utilities written in perl which allow you to perform actions across a large filesystem. I’ve personally used them hundreds of times over the years.

Use cwclean.pl to delete files and/or subdirectories. Use cwswap.pl to change portions of text across files. Each has command line options. The script themselves contain the instructions on usage. Either view the source, or run the scripts with the -h option (Example: perl cwclean.pl -h).
